Il suo telaio robusto è in alluminio e viene allestito con un diametro ruote differenziato in configurazione Mullet: ossia con una ruota da 29″ all’anteriore e un cerchio più piccolo da 27,5″ al posteriore.
La Nukeproof Megawatt 297 dispone di sospensioni generose dotate di una corsa da 170 millimetri per anteriore e posteriore, grazie a queste specifiche sarà pronta per affrontare anche le discese tecniche più impegnative.
Il produttore ha scelto una motorizzazione prestante che prevede un collaudato motore centrale Shimano EP8 alimentato da una batteria integrata da 630 Wh
Le geometrie aggressive della Megawatt sono state mutuate dal modello da enduro “muscolare” Mega, che dal 2009 fino ad oggi ha subito dei continui miglioramenti e modifiche per concretizzare un mezzo prestante da competizione: ricordiamo infatti che abbiamo visto di recente una Nukeproof Mega sul gradino più alto del podio della E.W.S (Enduro World Series).
La Nukeproof Megawatt 297 viene proposta con 3 diversi allestimenti chiamati rispettivamente Comp, Elite e Factory. Tutti i modelli sono disponibili con 5 diverse taglie che partono da S e arrivano fino a XL.
